Samuel L. Jackson and Donald Trump engaged in a war of words on Tuesday (Jan. 5), and it had nothing to do with politics. In a recent interview with United Airlines’ Rhapsody magazine, Jackson discussed the controversial Republican presidential hopeful, stating that he was charged by the mogul’s gold club without his knowledge.
“I’ve golfed with him,” he said. “But it’s funny — last week or so, I actually got a bill from Trump National Golf Club. And I haven’t been there in four or five years, so I had my assistant call. They said it was for membership dues. And I said, ‘I’m not a member,’ and they said, ‘Yeah, you are — you have a member number.’ Apparently he’d made me a member of one of his golf clubs, and I didn’t even know it!”
Asked if he thinks he’s a better golfer than Trump, Jackson replied confidently, noting that Trump is a cheat on the golf course.
“I am, for sure,” he said. “I don’t cheat.”
Trump got word of Jackson’s interview, and took to Twitter to claim that he did not know the actor, and had never played golf with him. He also took the opportunity to call Jackson “boring,” writing that he “does too many TV commercials:”

To prove his side of the story, Jackson took to Instagram with a photo of the bill from Trump’s golf club. He also added, “I’m gonna block his ass too!”
In an even funnier turn of events, Blackish star Anthony Anderson joined in on the golf debate, giving Trump a friendly reminder of the time they ate shrimp and hot dogs:
